Tutorial groups are generally of two types: (a) regional - e.g. Surrey, Birmingham, S.W.London or (b) specialist - e.g. Andean dance, nineteenth century finance and development. </ref>Located 180 kms north of Lima, Caral is Peru's oldest UNESCO heritage site. Click on thumbnail image above to read an abstract of an article in PNAS: "Environmental change and economic development in coastal Peru between 5,800 and 3,600 years ago" which examines the "disastrous" history of the Caral/Supe area before the pyramid city was established.
