Academic Publishing Wiki

After an article has been formally published, errors might be found that should be corrected. The wiki format of publishing makes such corrections easy to accomplish. One approach to making post-publication corrections of errors is to mark corrected articles and make use of a hypertext link to a page that itemizes the corrections.

Living articles[]

The wiki interface also makes it possible to update articles after publication so as to keep the article up-to-date with changes going on in the world. An article that is updated in this way might come to have a large number of modifications that would be tedious to explicitly document. It might make sense to archive a copy of a living article at publication, and periodically thereafter as modifications accumulate.
