Talk: Law and Policy Advances

Off hand I can think of two topics on which papers are sought. The first is publication of the law, rules of law and legal policy in the form of a polychotomous key, a key not limited to binary choice. The call for such papers is to give voice to all sides of the question that such publication raises for the citizen, legal system and the legal community. The second are papers weighing the need for divisions where an impasse exists such as between the laws and policies of nations, especially nations which share virtually the same language so that each nation might preserve laws and policies necessary to meet its own ideals and realities. One such example is the need for an American version of the Wikipedia due in major part to the enormous but subtle philosophical, cultural and historical differences between America, Britain, Canada, Australia and New Zealand rather than only language differences per se. This concept might be compared to each individual having unique rules for email. To be concise some countries might have unique spelling and senses for words with similar meanings which need separation in the form of two dictionaries, each for the cultural and geographic areas where the differences are recognized, found or used. imho 22:56, February 2, 2010 (UTC)
